So, here arises the need of using condition filter. It can also be called as a range filter.

Trend models in the Tableau are of four types:

1. Linear: In this model, no transformations are performed on the response variable. Let us say that the response variable is Y and explanatory variable is X. Then, Y = b0 + b1 * X + e becomes the formula.

It is wise to choose the polynomial degree between 2 and 8. Higher degrees rapidly show up the difference and the discrepancy among data elements and their results.
